Soft Wedge™ from Garrison Dental Solutions are interproximal wedges made from a softer, more compressible wood than tradition Sycamore or Birch wedges.  Compressing during insertion and readily swelling with moisture, Soft Wedge provides excellent interproximal adaptation and gingival margin seal for matrix bands.

Additionally, Soft Wedge™ has been optimized for use with sectional matrix systems like Garrison Dental Solutions’ Composi-Tight 3D.  A lower profile prevents interference with the contact area while the built-in anatomy further improves the fit and seal provided by the softer wood.  Soft Wedge™ is longer than traditional wooden wedges which is of great benefit when using a sectional matrix system like Garrison’s 3D which is notched on the bottom to fit over and around the wedge.
